Maybe there is one thing that both sides of the fence can agree on, this fall is going to HURT the wallet...big time.

Starting next month, There's about a 2 1/2 month span (thus far) of releases that I'm interested. Every week has at least 1 title for me to pick up and the damn studios haven't even announced everything yet!!

Obviously I won't be picking up every one (hopefully Santa will bring some) but...anyone else feeling the heat??

A Few Good Men
Elizabeth
Knocked Up
Dracula
Top Gun
28 Days Later
From Hell
Robocop
Reign Over Me
Transformers
Carlito's Way
Inside Man
Jack Ryan Collection
Cars
Ratatouiee
Pixar Shorts
Twister
Oceans 11
Aviator
I Robot
About A Boy
Bourne Ultimatum
Blade Runner
American Pie

Yes. Life is a drag and then you die. The nerve of the studios to release all these movies on HD.

Yeah this fall my purchases of Blu-ray and HD DVD discs will take a big bite out of my wallet as well. There's dozens of goodies I'll be buying. Funny this is there'll probably be a dozen or so more discs that haven't even been announced yet. One things for sure, I'm looking forward to doing a lot more movie watching this fall when the days are much cooler and outdoor activities are less appealing.

I am just looking forward to the box set of Harry Potter coming out this fall/Winter also Transformers!

I might also buy Hot Fuzz but I am more into the new releases not so much the older ones.

American Pie is officially coming?!?!? I musta missed that, but I'm way happy if it's true!!!

I'm also thinking santa is gonna be busy at my house this holiday season - for starters, and obviously not counting any hush hush surprises any studios might drop on us:

WILL be bought (for me, this a ton for just a few month stretch):

Knocked Up
Carlitos Way
Troy: Directors Cut
Bourne Ultimatum
Transformers
Old School
Deliverance
The Shining

Amen to that. The experience of unwrapping a new disc, popping it in and being blown away by high def clarity is just plain addictive.

It feels so good, it should be illegal
