Help With Kenwood KNA-DV4100

Thread Starter
I pulled my Kenwood Navigation from my old car (traded in and now sold outa State) and was going to use in my new truck. Problem is I forgot to remove the wire for the "Car Speed Signal Intermediate Wire" witch contains the "S SENS" wire that has a protection diode on it. Could someone tell me what kinda replacement diode I would need? I called Kenwood and they told me I would have to buy a new harness for this one wire and I don't really want to do that. In the manual it says that with out this S SENS not there could "Cause a fault with the car". Here is the page from the manual for the "Car Speed signal intermediate wire H 9White)" ILike I said I have the harness but I'm missing the Intermediate wire. Thanks

I believe you can use a 1-amp diode. Don't quote me on this though.
