Advice on completing HT with Klipsch speakers

Appreciate your advice on building out a HT system around existing Klipsch Forte and/or Pioneer HPM1500 speakers. I am considering Klipsch RC-62 and RS-52s - would this be a good match for the Forte pair?

How about using the HPM1500s in front with the Forte as surrounds? (I am going to try this when in-wall wiring is done.) Would a subwoofer be optional with this configuation?

What are the advantages and disadvantages of using surrounds (e.g. RS-52) vs wider range bookshelves (e.g. RB-61) as rear speakers?

Thanks for your thoughts.

I think the consensus would be to stay with speakers (especially the center) that match your Forte. How about other (used) Forte?

Seek advice on the Klipscg forums.

I had a set of Forte's in my HT until a few years ago. I replaced them with a set of RB-75's and an RC-7. I got the RC-7 first and then realized that the Forte's couldn't keep up. They were great speakers in their day, but the newer Klipsch are better. I really don't think there is much in the current Klipsch line that will be a good match with the Forte's.

If I had to select, I would look for a used Academy CC.

Thanks to both for good advice. Guess I'll settle for a RC-35 or RC-62 for improvement over the KV-2. A new system is not in the budget.
