Newbie with Panasonic question

Thread Starter
I've determined that plasma best suits my viewing needs and have decided to buy a 50" Panasonic 720p set. I've been shopping a model TH-50PX75U and have found it at several stores, but I recently found a model TH-50PC77U on sale at Costco. I can't find that model on the Panasonic website to compare its specs with the PX75U. Is this a discontinued model that Costco is selling? All of the sets on the Panny website are either "PX" or "PZ" model numbers. No "PC"s at all. BTW, the PC77U has a matte screen to reduce glare. Should that be a big decision factor?

TIA for the help.

search this forum for "costco panasonic" and you should find answer pretty quickly. if i recall, the costco set is equivalent to the lowest end series, just with a different color and stand...but don't quote me.

the th50px77u is the basically the same as the th50px75u except it has an added anti glare screen that reportedly works pretty good and is about $100-200 more msrp. it should be on the panny site.

that th50pc77u at costco should be using that same screen and be the basic equivilent to the th50px77u.
