I noticed that MO/IL are getting the Sportsman Channel and Tennis Channel and other type channels in HD now, can we please get NHL Network HD...Michigan is a huge hockey state and I can assure you that NHL HD would be welcomed more than a Tennis HD channel

I will submit your request but cannot make any guarantees. Feel free to let us know if we can further assist.

Hi joespears,

I am following up to advise that we are shooting for late June/early July for HD additions in TN. It looks to be about 45 HD channels, but we cannot announce specifics just yet. Some of the channels that you have listed ARE on the launch plans and we hope to do about another 50 more by end of year.

If there's anything else we can help with, please feel free to let us know!

Awesome! Thank you so much for the information! I will be looking very forward to this!

Charter at the moment only carries 40 basic HD networks, 5 premium HD networks and 7 out of 8 local HD networks available in my area. So the 45-95 additional HD channels being added will be welcomed very much!

Actually one more request I would like to add is the final local HD network not carried in my area: WVLT-DT2 (Subchannel of WVLT, MyNetworkTV HD affliation, it is currently carried on Channel 15 in SD) its available OTA in 720p HD.

Been waiting years for this to happen. Glad to see it is finally going to happen. Please do not disappoint with any more delays. We were suppose to have multiple HD channels added last year and got the short end of the stick. When I first got an hdtv Charter didn't even offer all of the local channels in HD (WB, ION, MyTV). Only reason I haven't left and went with AT&T Uverse is because of the well known lack of picture quality with Uverse's HD. If we don't get the significant number of HD channel addition then I will definitely be dropping Charter. Already had to drop their phone service

I forwarded this request along as well

Umatter, Hi - new forum member here.

I am a Charter customer in Redding, CA (96001), and I was wondering if you know when the following HD channels might become available:

Nick HD
FSC HD (Fox Soccer Channel)
Encore HD

The kids and I are excited about the upcoming 'Legend of Korra' on Nick, but I was surprised to see that we do not appear to have that channel in HD in our 96001 area. These three channels would be my most requested ones.

Thanks for any information!

Good evening,

I have not received any information from the Redding area in some time so I am going to reach out to our marketing team to see what plans we have for HD channel additions. I will be in touch as soon as I hear back from them.

Thanks,

Jeremy

Good afternoon Lars,

I heard back from our marketing contact in the Redding area and we are planning to launch new channels in June. However, they did not have any specifics they could talk to at this time. We generally post new channel lineups/additions in your bill via inserts. Be on the lookout for those, and please let us know if you ever need any help.

Thanks,

Jeremy

Any negotiations going on to include CBS and FOX on demand programs in 89410? Seems strange that you would have FX ( even though it takes a week to get the latest Justified) but not FOX.

Good Morning,

Unfortunately, there are no current plans to add either as VOD options. Fox does offer full episode programming through their website though: http://www.fox.com/full-episodes/

Thanks,

Dylan

Why would you expect Charter to have America's #1 TV network available ONDemand?

Umatter, do you know anything about the WatchESPN app? Charter is not one of the providers listed to allow the App to work. Will it be added?

I think as Charter subscribers we have access to watch ESPN3 online, and as far as I can tell the app is the only way to watch ESPN3 on my IPad.

Good evening,

Our engineers are working on an app but don't have a firm ETA on release at this time.

Thanks George, I'm still a little confused, so this would be a Charter branded app that would allow ESPN viewing?

I'm only asking about the WatchESPN app because I contacted ESPN and they said I have to reach out to my cable provider and request that they Allow subscribers to use the WatchESPN app.

Let me second the request for the WatchESPN app. I'd also like to have access to the Showtime iPad app!

I see a lot of the country getting a lot of HD additions, however Fort Worth, TX area hasn't had any additions in a long time, and I have not heard any word about any planned additions. Please let me know what is going on in my area.

Hi salvag98,

I'll be happy to check with local marketing to see if we have any news. Are there any specific channels that you'd like to see added in HD?

Thanks,
Abby

Hi Umatter:
I noticed that the NHL Playoffs are broadcasting every 1st round game nationally for the first time ever. They are being shown on NBC, NBCSN, CNBC and NHL Network. I get the first three channels in HD but I don't get the NHL Network at all because it isnt offered in HD. I don't see value in a channel that isn't in HD. I know that this season may too late to add the HD version but please add it before next season. I would subscribe to the sports package if you added NHL Network HD, CBS Sports Network HD and NBA TV HD. Please do that in the Duluth, MN 55812 area before the fall. ESPN3d would also be nice. I also agree with everyone else that a watch espn app on charter is greatly needed.
Thanks, Dan

Hi Dan,

Thanks for your interest in more HD sports programming. I have submitted your exact feedback to local marketing, and we will definitely put this into consideration. We are also looking to get a WatchESPN app, but nothing had been confirmed at this time. Is there anything else that I can do to help?

Hi Umatter,
I also agree on hockey and more sports in HD. Do you show any additions in the near future for 75137?

Thanks, Vance
