And if I was a new customer I would want to know what that rate is BEFORE I order. Your website doesn't state that. Basically what you are unintentionally telling someone is to go with DirecTv, DishNetwork, FiOS or U-Verse. When someone sees a promo price but not a standard price to them that screams "SCAM". I'm not saying you're scamming anyone I'm saying that's how people feel. Just ask yourself would YOU purchase something at a promo price without knowing what the regular price is when the promo ends? Of course not.
We are trying to align prices enterprise wide, so there is little difference between markets. However, we do not normally post standard prices online due to multiple factors. First and foremost the standard rate could change due to price increases, area regulations that may or may not require sales tax, etc. So there is no link that will give standard pricing, but anyone who would like to know what the standard price is can feel free to contact us. I apologize for the confusion and frustration that you have with not having a link to give you the answers you seek, but I am happy that you are happy with your current services. If you ever need anything from us please let us know.
No offense but that's stupid. How does one know what they'll pay if you don't post pricing? As a said Joe Blow new customer would not know how to contact you. I guess you're not interested in new customers. DirecTv and Dish have no qualms about posting pricing. They deal with different sales tax rates. Who knows I may want to try out 100 meg sometime. I'm not doing it if I can't see what I am going to be charged and no I don't to have to contact anyone just to do it.
Also you're answer doesn't answer the question as to why one can only order 30 meg on the website and not any of the other speed tiers. And also why you can't order TV all by itself. Also you DO post standard pricing online. What do you link http://www.charter.com/tvpackages
is? It's online
and it's standard pricing
. You just don't make it easy for customers to find. If you went into a store and none of the items had pricing and you couldn't find pricing until you got to the cashier would you even bother to shop there? Why are you making it HARD for customers to buy your products? I'm not trying to bash you. I'm just trying to enlighten you to the fact you need to improve your online presence.
