What's your issue? It has BOTH pricings on it. Does it not mention Digital HOME pricing? Digital View, Digital View Plus? Yes it does. That's OLD pricing. Also mentions OLD pricing on equipment and premiums like HBO and DVR service. It's pretty clear. Fact is you can compare old pricing to new. And as you'll see new pricing is cheaper.

I have no issue. Just stating the facts. Do we need to go around on this again? I completely understand the pricing structure. I didn't spend five years in college and the last 25 years practicing engineering without understanding basic arithmetic.

I stand behind what I've always said. The pricing is not less for all subscribers, especially those that only have one TV and want DVR service or those that only use the internet to check email. Why do you need to keep ignoring what I have said.

The new pricing will be $5/month less for me when I come off promo in December. I understand all this.

Does anyone know if Charter selling some of their markets to other companies? I was watching Tru tv the other night and they were showing Time Warner commercials and I'm talking about the same that are recorded and broadcasted by local companies. It was advertiseing Time Warners channel 669 VOD if my memory is correct. I'm in the Duncanville, TX 75137 area.

Well Charter has sold areas in the past recently. I'm not sure about your area but it usually makes the news somewhere. We get Comcast advertising all the time. Of course our locals are out of Nashville which is Comcast territory so the commercials you see probably mean nothing.

Channel 42 should still be MSNBC. I haven't seen any other reports of this issue today. Has the issue already been resolved?

If I am not mistaken Comcast did the ad insertion for Charter until TWC took over in 2006 in North Texas and they could still be doing add insertion for Charter through TWC media. I just checked yep TWC media does ad insertion for Charter still in Dallas they also do it for At&t Uverse So no your market is not up for sale. Although they list the duncanville system as Time Warner- Duncanville

I know the west side of Duncanville close to Dallas City Limits is TWC, but its a very small portion. They also get some channels that I would like to have.

The first person I talked to couldn't understand what I was telling him. I didn't know that Charter outsources. He transferred me to another department. Eventually a trouble call was put in since this was the only way to let people in Suffolk know that there was a problem. 42 was showing Syfy channel for more than 3 hours. I can't believe that no one can pick up the phone and call Suffolk dispatch and I requested that they do several times. You see, on one hand I was hoping that the were moving the channel into HD with Fox News and on the other hand I was hoping that they would quickly find out that there was a problem in the headend. Either way, I should have been able to get an answer but no.

Directv has far better customer service.

yeah our lineup on TWC in the Dallas area dwarfs what you have sorry TWC in this area carries 137 HD channels soon to be 139 HD channels. There is a TWC system on the outskirts of the DFW area that only has 99 HD channels and they have an anemic Digital lineup just enough channels to get 99 HD channels.

Yeah, but its not just about HD for me, heck I wan't several basic channels that they get in other areas. For example, I wan't nick jr for my kids, and couple of sports channels. Of course the HD is a plus. They are advertiseing 100 HD channels on my bill envelope, so hopefully we will start seeing some movement here in Texas soon.

So I am guessing the advertisement said coming soon 100HD channels?

Actually it only says, Now with more than 100 HD channels, apps to watch on your smartphone and tablet, and the ability to stream content to any screen in your home. Hopefully not next year, because I dang sure not getting them now, lol.

It's happening again but worse - channel 42 switched and is now showing WWE and its in Spanish. What the heck do I do now?

Edit: I believe its Spike TV? in Spanish.

There is a new sports channel called beIN Sports and I would like to make a request for it. It is already on Dish and DirectTv. This channel will be hosting all of the U.S. Soccer team's road qualifiers for the world cup. I'm in the 30542 area.

I'd also like to make another request for these channels in HD if they arent currently on the way.

You are not alone. Even if you pay for all the premium channels, you would still have less than 25 HD channels in this part of NV.

I would like to request NBA HD for 55901.

I don't think Charter has an agreement to carry the NBA TV channel so it will probably not matter where you live. It is pretty sad that every other major carrier has NBA TV but Charter.

WatchESPN is the primary digital destination by which to consume content from our linear networks. ESPN3 will continue to focus on exclusive events, with more than 3,500 in the next year alone.
