STRICTLY GOING BY THE TERMS OF YOUR USER AGREEMENT, you would be required to have all receivers in the house connected to the phoneline, so they could verify that all of them are at the same location. D* may have some "no phoneline fee" or waiver process that you could use - check with your dealer / the provider for any details.
Thanks for the info. I did see it in the user agreement, so I called and asked and was told that I wouldn't need the phone line except to order ppv. I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't be missing out on some other functionality.
It would run me about $30/month to get my phone line set back up, so I'd like to avoid it if possible. it would be eaiser for me to connect them up to an internet connection than a phone line...not that that would help.
