Green Streaks/Bars on XA2 anyone else?

I recently (09/02/07) picked up an XA2 and immediately updated the firmware via Ethernet. When Playing HD DVD's I get the below green streaks, I do not notice them on regular DVD's played in the player or on blurays played on my PS3 (Same HDMI cables into same receiver etc...) Has anyone else seen this before with their player? If so is it fixable on my end or do I have to send it in?

HDXA2-->Denon 2307ci-->Samsung HLS 87w. I have tested various cables and notice the green streaks with all of them. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Looks like your video card is almost fried.

Video card? Which component? All items are a year or less old so it sounds bad.

That would be your video processor in your HD-DVD player.

If that is the case then I guess it's back to Toshiba. Luckily I have a 360 add on player to hold me through the in between time. Must be a defective unit since it has about 8 movies on it so far.

Update:

Called Toshiba, tech rep said usually these "quirky" problems usually occur with HDMI-DVI adapters. I am not running any adapters and using cables/HDMI ports that have had zero problems in the past. He also said to update to 2.5 firmware and call back if the problem persists. He said the update was released two days ago but my player does not "see" its availability yet. Strangely enough I do not think the FW update will fix it. Here are some pictures from Blood Diamond

Yeah, some people have this issue, but they told you to get the 2.5 update? I still don't see that out yet! Hopefully it would fix it, but these may just be faulty players, usually from the January batch.

It strikes me a little bit funny to be using the movie the Hulk to find evidence of green streaks in the picture, perhaps another movie with a little less green in the subject matter.

Really the only thing green is the Hulk himself just responding to alot of bad reports about the Jan 2007 production unit hoping I don't have the same problems.

Called Toshiba again, it's on its way to MA as we speak. I will post back with an update when I get a player back. The worst part about the whole ordeal is that I just had the player just long enough to be teased by its excellent audio and superior std def upconversion when compared to my first player. The add on. The results are far too good to get upset over something like this, I like that others here have been taken care by Toshiba when they had similar problems.
