Home Theater in a box

Im in the market for a new plasma tv 50-58inch and ive been reading alot of the in built speakers are not so great so Im looking for some recommendations on the best value home theater in a box not knowing anything about surround sound. can anyone share any information

Philips HTS3544. $199.95 with DVD player. I tested it against all the Wal-Mart systems upto $600 and it came out on top everytime. In home it sounds even better, especially after calibration. The sound is just amazing, especially for the price. You can't go wrong here. If your set has a digital coaxial (orange) output get a digital coaxial cable for true surround sound. Although, even with just the red/white cable for simluated surround sound it is very impressive.

What about the HTS3555/37? I can't seem to find the one you recommend in Canada...
