According to denon My avr-4806 will NOT INPUT 7.1 PCM SO i AM LOOKING AT OTHER OPTIONS IT ALSO WILL NO SWITCH 1080P WITHOUT 500.00 UPGRADE SO i AM LOOKING TO SELL MINE AND BUY ONE THAT WILL. ANYONE KNOW OW THE POWER AMP ON THE 4308 COMPARES TO MY 4806? OR SHOULD i WAIT FOR THE NEW 5800? MODEL?

The $500 upgrade will accept a 7.1 PCM and the 1080P signal. I have been happy with my upgrade; however I honestly would not buy another AVR until it has TRUEHD, DTS-HD and DTS-HD-MA processing.
