. to me, it's the most disappointing part of the mix.
regarding guthrie's mix, at the end of the article the author types: "First, no matter how faithful the mix is or isn’t, I still think the use of the center channel is too subtle. The one time it’s used prominently, for the breathy sax of “Us and Them,” gives me a chill that I wish I could get again and again." i agree....i love the sax there, the way it just washes over you.
