I have several titles and I believe the AQ is just as good as SACD (2.0) when done properly. Early on, HDTracks put out some stuff where the source material was 16/44 simply up-sampled so there was absolutely no advantage in purchasing these tracks/albums. They have since cleaned up their game, supported by lots of folks at the Hoffman site that do a bit of digital analysis of the files and post results. When done properly, you will see data above the 20KHz with good DR scores. They still don't always advertise who did the remasters and what source material was used so it makes most who care uneasy. Just like SACDs, you have to wade through the offerings and do some research...but there are jewels to be had.
I still feel most 5.1 SACDs/DVD-As have the definitive edge on AQ when compared to their 2.0 siblings.
They just released the Eagles catalogue...need to read some of the reviews for sure regarding Desperado/The Long Run.
