You talking about the guy who wired the money to the account? I wouldn't call him a PC Hacker...he's a money launder so he knows how to fake it...as he said, the money would only stay there for 5 minutes max...

Barry is a cool character. Even if he's a metro fat boy.

Wow, the season is really starting to heat up. I had 4 others over tonight for the episode, and there were many instances where they were laughing so hard, I couldn't hear the next lines. It was great! Lot's of Sam, got to see Fi hit Michael. Laughed hard when Nate (who I don't really like) hit him too. The angry Russian sister/client was funny. Just loved it. Best ep this season, IMO.

That daddy line by Fi really had me laughing at the TV.

Another excellent episode. The writing continues to be sharp and snappy.

Wow! A very Bruce-centric episode...I like it. I like it. Please give us more!

Good stuff...really enjoyed it.

I agree, another fun episode. They just keep on doing it week after week. I loved the intricate scam Michael pulled on the Russians to get the girls back. Inspired stuff!

Did anybody recognize our buddy from LOST? Ivan was played by Andrew Divoff, aka the virtually indestructible Mikhail. (For the record, I think the grenade outside the porthole finally done ol' Mikhail in.)
Ahha! So that's where he's from! I couldn't quite place him, thanks.

Oh. I knew he looked very familiar, but I couldn't think of where I'd seen him. He plays bad guys well!

Arch -- Good catch! That had passed entirely over my head. By the way, I agree that Mikhail is as certainly and irretrievably dead as the Wicked Witches in The Wizard of Oz.

I thought bringing up Bruce was a good move. The one thing I've been hoping they would do this season.

Another good episode which would have been better had I not watched Eastern Promises last weekend. I had my fill of tattooed Russian gangsters smuggling girls this week.

Another thing I like about Burn Notice is that you learn something new every week. It's like espionage CliffsNotes.

TY, couldn't place Mikhail.

Poor Sam getting the boot by his gf. I guess he gets to keep the Caddy.

The Caddy was the first thing that jumped into my mind. At least we finally got to meet her even if it was goodbye.

Not a bad tradeoff, she had much higher mileage than the Caddy.

We've seen her once before, last season. I just figured there had to be more to the casting of Audrey Landers than just a throw-away part with a few seconds of screen time, however. They could have gotten a generic no-name actress for that. I just figured, in a "shocking" plot twist, that she would be one of Michael's burners and was just getting close to Sam so that she could keep tabs on Michael. Perhaps we haven't seen the last of her...?

Or maybe I'm just overthinking it. Could be that the producers, due to second season marketing deals, needed to replace the Caddy with a Saab. So Sam will meet another clueless paramour who will give him one of those.

Geez Arch, I hope you're not implying that Audrey Landers would qualify as a Big step up from a 'no-name actress'. My guess is that they really didn't have the budget for someone higher up the food chain, and couldn't make it someone completely anti-climactic, so they figured it would be easier just to distract us generally.

I kinda hope we have, and I think its the latter. One of the things I like about Burn Notice is that none of the characters are a complete stereotype, and I don't know how Ms. Landers could be anything other.

But I'll say this. Other than being a cameo test-run for Fox, I think they did a real disservice to Trish overall. Good thing the pay is good.

Ms Landers has done impressively in the few guest stints she has than any of the brief Ms Helfer scenes who is still beyond boring and can TH get any worse in acting ? BN has a above rating for outstanding casting but either NIX was drinking or maybe had a brain lapse while deciding Trish was the perfect choice for Carla since her one dimensional acting and bland way of delivering her lines has me cringing as I watch her

So many good scenes with Bruce again...he's awesome (and dreamy)....errr...(end of post)

They could have gone in a completely different direction and made Sam's lady friend unseen, like Norm's wife in Cheers, Peg's mom in Married with Children, or Al's mom in Home Improvement (to name a few). Could have led to some more comedy. Then again, its not very original (as I've just proven).

Not to mention the UK classic Rumpole of the Bailey, to which he refers to "She who must be obeyed".

This was Fi's week. Both her exchange with the rap mogul and posing as the client's outraged girlfriend made me howl. Burn Notice is fun stuff.

The girlfriend bit was hilarious, this really is a fun show.

Keenan, I liked Trish as well on BSG, but you are really being way too kind by characterizing that 'puff piece' as an 'interview'.

Yeah, actually, the only mildly interesting part was that they had even considered having her wear a red dress in her appearance on Burn Notice.

I really hope they intended that as a joke, rather than a blatant attempt to cash in on Six's sex.

Hard to say, this is NBC/Uni we're talking about.

How we'll know that Burn Notice has "jumped the shark"

When Carla starts appearing to Michael only

Meth was a good fit for the boss since he's already insane. And Fi adjusting the thong was pretty nice.
