DD 5.1 Issue With PS3!

Have any of you notice that the DD 5.1 soundtracks sound different? They are now very low in volume output, almost like they are being compressed. I did a test by running a my DVD player with the same disc and found a huge difference in between the two, the DVD player sounded like the PS3 before the firmware update (not the new one) 1.92.

Can someone due a comparison also and see if there is an issue with their PS3 too?

I even played back DD 5.1 on BD Shooter and notice the sound was very different than before. LPCM 5.1 playback seems to be fine, it is on the DD 5.1 tracks are out of whack.

That's a good catch, I thought it was just me. I think the volume is a bit lower as well.

PS3 like SONY seems to like LCPM than True HD and DD 5.1. The pre-out levels for DD and True HD are way too low.
