Doubt it's relevant unless they time travel - it is a map of the old USSR. If anything, the fact that they're standing on Australia and New Zealand may be more significant.

They're actually standing in front of a world map - the Eastern Hemisphere just happens to be on the left side.

Edit - and it's not an old map, either. You can definitely see Kazakhstan on the map, which was once part of the USSR but is now its own nation.

We just need a "Hero's goes to the beach" episode, so we can see here swim-suit disguise.

I am with you on the DL side, but maybe they kill off Nathan and have this big ceremony becaus/ never mind there is no way it is him. They didn't go as far as heal his wife to let him off that easily.
I am still amazed you guys are letting Matt off so easily. He was shot 4-6 times(I don't remember how many shots he got off) While DL was shot once. Hey, we only have 7 more hrs untill we find out.

Considering his *cough* contributions *cough* to this series, it probably wouldn't affect things one iota overall. Personally, I thought he was pretty much 'dead' as a character for some time now. So if you're suggesting he is the most disposable of the original group, I doubt there are many who would disagree.

Instead of the 'newcomers' who are rumored to be coming on board, I vote for resurrecting both Eden and Charly, as both were sexy in their own way, had cool powers, and would help to contrast the (now) triumvirate of blond Heroes chicks.

Agree that there are few who would disagree. DL was the least developed character on the show. He was a cypher to the end; nobody's going to miss him much even though he did have a cool power. And I hate that he killed off the great mutant mastermind Linderman (more so if you read the online comic) so ridiculously easily. I would have loved to have seen the great non-mutant Malcom McDowell chew up some season-2 scenery.

There's apparently some kind of unwritten rule where only the blonde women on the show survive. With the exception of mother Petrelli, all the non-blonde heroes seem to bite the dust. Think about it.

Come on we watch this show for story lines and super powers. Not for sexy woman, not that that is a bad thing. Despite that the writers seem to keep writing them in as soon as they write them out. So we are safe.

What about that girl who can read the internet with her mind? Or Parkman's wife?

I'm with you all the way on that, McDowell stole every scene he was in, and I remember him back to O' Lucky Man (maybe not that lucky when Danson stole Steenburgen away). He's playing it with the same 'wink and a nod' that Alan Richter brought to Die Hard 1. Sylar doesn't have the personality to pull it off without sneering. Must be something about the Brits.

Don't know if you've picked up Season 1 on DVD, but in the commentaries, you find out that McDowell's scenes were all done during the course of a single day.


Hmmm, interesting. So I guess that would also explain why they didn't keep that hot red-headed mechanic with the super hearing around for long either.

She's not, but he didn't specify a hero - he said non-blonde WOMEN. (I know how to write in bold too!)

Mama Petrelli isn't a hero either, but he specifically mentioned her...

She's actually dead. If you read the Graphic Novels on nbc.com, you'll see that she died.

Interesting Hayden's hair being straight, because in the TV show, if Claire gets a haircut, wouldn't it just grow back right away?

There hasn't been any proof yet, but it is widely speculated that she does have powers. Plus everything points in that direction also. Especially with the story Linderman told Nathan and the way Sulu explained the tradition to Hiro.

That is being a bit technical because if that was the case she wouldn't be able to control the length in the first place. It would still be growing to the point that she needs to cut it daily.

Wait, isn't the hair outside your skin (as in, not the follicle) dead? But Clair is healing, so her cells wouldn't die...

To everyone, only 5 hrs left until we get to enjoy the premiere. Limited commercial interuption tonight so don't get used to it, next week back to 16 min of commercials if you don't have a DVR. Time for me to sit in my car for the 40 min ride to home and pick up dinner.

Anybody know if this will be one of those 62 minute episodes? Got burned a few times last year when my DVR cut off the last minute or two.

In a S2 promo-trailer on YouTube, Noah gets Claire enrolled at a new school. While there, group of cheerleaders passed them wearing the exact same uni Claire has in the above picture.

HRG explicitly told her not to try out for the squad, or draw any attention unto herself. Perhaps she goes rebel like a young Clark Kent and joins the team anyway.
