Thanks,

Buy clear lexan or acrylic panels at Home Depot, for example, and encase a TV in a box made from them on at least the front viewing side. Silicon caulking for sealing seams and wire entrance holes. Build a ventilation system or it will over heat. Maybe check out DIY jacuzzi forums (if they exist) for more ideas. Just a thought.

There's probably flat panel displays made for marine cockpit use that are designed to survive salt spray and splashes. But I think m. zillch has the right idea. Cut a window into an adjoining room or closet, and mount the TV from there. But, if the bathroom is large enough and properly ventilated, you might get away with a regular TV up on a high wall mount.

I really like m.zillch's idea but for a cool, wow effect I would have to add some windshield wiper to the box.

I'm in the same boat.... will be buying a couple for outdoors. I've only really seen two brands and I forget one of them (starts with an "A")... the other is SunBrite and my buddy got a 42" model from them - looks great.

I remember seeing this thread and thought the OP was looking for a small portable device, so I got excited when I saw this in my Engadget feed today:

...however it sounds like a full sized set. Sorry! Always got an eye out though
