It can't hurt to call and complain. We should all complain. If they keep getting complaints, they'll be more likely to fix it to stop the support calls.
Red Button resets for a long term search for things I hope might eventually appear (I have a couple series not available through home video I'm set to record if a channel starts to air them at some point) is not a solution. I need the DVR to detect and pick up this stuff reliably.
They broke it, they need to fix it. It worked before.
