Hi, I would like to know if you can record and play back 720p in its native format to display device via tuner?
Artur.

If you are referring to the Panny combo (PV-HD1000 and TU-DST50/51), yes, they will record, play back, and output 720p for display. A switch on the back of the DST50/51 can be set to allow 720p to be output without being converted to 1080i.

best regards Artur.

ABC HDTV is broadcast as 720p. Check on titantv.com to see if there's an ABC DTV station close enough so you could make your own demo using the Panny combo.
