I just bought a Westinghouse 32 inch LCD (SK-32H240S) and have an issue with the component inputs. If I connect any of my game consoles to the YPBPR inputs (of which there are 2) the image has a green tint to it, mostly to darker areas. This happens with Xbox 360, Ps2, and Wii.
The VGA and RCA inputs reproduce colors normally.
The odd thing is that the LCD tv I had before this one also had a green tint when I plugged in my consoles to the YPBPR input, however my old LCD had a 2nd component input labelled "YCBCR", and when I plugged the component cables into that, the colors were normal.
So what is it? I must be doing something wrong, but why doesn't it show normal colors on any of my game consoles? I do have them plugged into the TV correctly, and the cables are all brand name (microsoft, sony, and nintendo). I'd like to know if its my TV, but its strange that this same thing happened on my old TV as well, but I was able to bypass that by using the other component input. Could both component inputs be broken on my Westinghouse?
Anyone have any experiences like this or have any solutions?
Thanks very much for any replies
