I just downloaded and tested your program
May I say Thank you veeeeeeery much sir! This is the coolest HT app I have played with. It allowed me to sort my slides and my trailers whichever way I wanted them. I was even able to play some cheesy movie theater music while the slides were playing. I dont have my home theater ready yet, maybe in another 2-3 months, but I cannot wait to test this on the big screen, but I am assuming as long as you have slides and trailers in 1080P, your software will play them just fine. What I like about it is how FLEXIBLE it is....it even automatically maximizes the QuickTime or Media Player window when launching trailers and intros, this way the viewers cant even tell the source of the video file...Excellent work man.
The only two thing I was hoping to find would have been:
1- The ability to time the slides to play for lets say 10-15 minutes, rather than setting an expiration time (7:00pm). This way we never have to go back and change the time to 8:30pm, 9:43pm, depending on when each movie night takes place in time.
1- Also, the ability to internaly record the entire sequence to a video file (VOB, Divx, MPEG2/4..etc) where I could burn it to a DVD and have in play in a separate DVD player, and when it's about to be over I would have my harmony remote switch over to my bluray player, this sort of eliminates the need to have a HTPC if its not in the budget at the time being, also some of us have no way of connecting a HTPC into their receiver or projectors for one reason or the other (lack of ports..etc). So it would be nice if we can burn the entire sequence whenever we feel like it to a DVD or BD dics. This way we do not have to always rely on a HTPC to do the work and can always go back and update the sequence with new trailers and slides using your software and be able to burn it again to DVD.
So a recording option would definitely add icing on the cake. Again, thanks for making such an awesome little tool!
