My local Future Shop (where I was picking up a Toshiba HD-A20 on closeout) had an LG endcap with an LG LCD TV and the LG hybrid Blu-ray/HD DVD player.
Is this common elsewhere? It was the first time I had seen this in any electronics store, and I've been to many. (This was in Toronto, BTW.)
I think it was just the old borked-HD DVD model though, as I didn't see an actual HD DVD logo anywhere on the unit.
Anyways, it's nice to see LG pushing themselves into local electronics stores, but I think that advertising won't get very far until they start reducing prices on their players.
