No more 12/2 ultras for sale?

I was thinking about adding a second 12/2 ultra and went to the SVS site and they are no more. How long has the 12/2 ultra been off the market?

Quite awhile...they stopped producing the Ultra12s when they severed the TC Sounds contract. They ran threw the remaining inventory months ago. You might put an add on Audiogon...there might be a few available as the PB13 takes over.

Just keep any eye out, they are commonly for sale in the used market.

You should be able to score a good deal as there are quite a few seeking to upgrade to the new Ultras....

Heads up in case anyone is curious, but it appears SVS changed the dimensions slightly on the ultra down the line in talking with Eric today. I am working with about 1/2" clearance in my setup and my ultra is 25.5" high. Then newer versions (not sure when the revision was done) is 26.5" high. Only an inch, but that makes all the difference in my setup as I need the 25.5" so my screen is not obstructed. Just a heads up.

Is that perhaps the height measurement of the old TV-12 Ultra?

The new PB13 Ultra is only 22" high, so that measurement is not even close. Size: Approx. 27 D x 20.5 " W x 22" H (w/o grill)

Yes and No. It is the TV-12 Ultra but I am talking about the 12/2 ultras. 26.5" is the height of the newest 12/2 ultras (before they were discontinued) and 25.5" is the height on the original 12/2 ultras. This only matters if you are dealing with height restrictions like I am as the 26.5 would cover up part of the bottom 1/2" of my projection screen.
