Red bar when fast forwarding?

I have the Toshiba A35 and three movies. Borune Idnetity, King Kong, and 300. On Bourne and King Kong when I fast forward I get the blue arrows in the upper left hand corner as well as the red bar across the bottom showing chapter and time. When I do this on 300 I only get the Blue arrows in the upper left hand corner. Is it common to not get the red bar on the bottom with some movies?
Thanks

Universal does the bars.

I hate the bars myself. There should be a way to turn that "feature" off.

I have both Bourne movies that are out so far, as well as Pitch Black and Riddick; all Universal. IIRC I've only noticed one that put up the bar mentioned (I think it was Bourne Identity, but not 100% sure). I like the bar, it gives a quick visual referenece. But apparently this isn't something that the Xbox creates, but something the disc authors create; I guess part of iHD.

Thanks, I thought it might be software specific. Just wanted to make sure.

It's part of the interactive "package" on most recent (2007 calendar year or thereabouts) Universal movies. Paramount has a similar bar on a lot of their releases. Warner doesn't have a bar in their "package".

Personally I think it's a great feature as it shows me at a glance where I am in the movie and where all the chapter break points are.

I don't mind the bar, however I wish all movies had a way to see how much time was left. That's the only thing I like better about SD.
