nice pics Petmic10, to improve them, try to keep the focus closest to the main subject on the screen, like the eyes, use 5.6 to 6.3 aperture, use no flash and keep camera on a tripod with auto shoot mode, so as not to touch the camera while it takes the picture, also try have the room as dark as possible, also use Manual mode so you are able to adjust the exposure.

Why is it that these pics look so bright and beautiful? when i go to best buy and view an elite, its not as bright and the whites look "dirty." is it because the display hasnt been properly broken in?
...because you have not been chosen by the Kuro gods.

No, it's because you go into BB to view tv's. The other day I saw either a toshiba or LG LCD that looked better than a 6020 sitting next to it. Go figure. Just like if you walk into the Magnolia section of best buy to hear some speakers and they close the doors and put the volume up so high that you can't even tell anymore if the speakers sound good or not. Who knows what they do in there and how many people play with the remotes for the TV's. Write down some settings from the owners section and go back into BB and tweak the set then compare it to the sets next to the elite. Then ask them to carry it into the theatre room and let you watch a movie.

That happened to me on Friday, they had a 6020 and a Samsung 58" mounted above it. I was checking them out and some guy walked up to me and remarked that the Sammy looked better whatever.

Well those are pics of COD3 and if I remember correctly COD 4 and 3 were developed by two different houses. Don't know how big a difference that makes but just pointing it out. Download the demo and see what you get then.

Or better yet, you could always rent COD5: World at War and then compare it to COD3. Both games were made by Treyarch and set in WWII, but COD5 was built using the COD4 engine made by Infinity Ward.

Also, wonderful pictures everyone! Seeing all these gorgeous pictures makes me sad since now I have to wait to get my Kuro because of some unforeseeable circumstances that drained the Kuro fund... I guess even greater things come to those who have to wait twice?

Oh man these pics are making me sad. I want a kuro so bad!!

5020 using D-Nice offsets. Doesn't quite do this set justice, but thought I'd post them anyway.

Great Pictures, do you have a pausing function for TV, or how do you make screenshots from TV programm?
