With Blade Runner I tried to take extremely dark scenes to see how dark the pictures can get before they look bad.

I think you'd benefit from bumping up the ISO level a little, especially in the darker scenes.

Being that the image was somewhat soft, distant and upside down, I thought it was a picture of her laying on her stomach. I had to look at it again after reading your post in order to see the "nudity"... you can see more revealing female anatomy simply walking down the street of Anytown USA than what's being displayed in that picture.

I'm quite unsatisfied with the pictures I take, recently

They turned out pretty well, I especially like this kettle shot, though I realize it's probably better viewed in person but that's par for the course when it comes to posting pics to the forum.

Very true, especially during the summer. I wasn't offended by the pic in anyway, in fact it looks rather artful to me, just saying it probably violates the rules here for posting.

I'm glad you like it What I'm unstasfied with is the overall sharpness: pictures look MUCH softer than what I see on screen.

Also, there's a lot of black detail lost in those Any other setting I tried with my camera would make the picture too bright compared to what I saw on the KURO, though.

Will someone please post the exact location of Anytown. I am trying to calculate my moving costs. Thank you.

Unfortunately, the first picture has now been removed. That being the case, looking at the NEW first shot, my post could be interpreted as having certain homo-erotic qualities (not that there is anything wrong with that). Please ignore them, as I appreciated the lady's "shoulder blades" as much as the next guy.

Thank you for your attention.

It was probably removed because someone complained.

Ironic isn't it that a shot like this doesn't violate any rules, but that shot (btw, i've saved all the shots) does.

Yeah, pretty sad.

When I first saw the movie I thought the head on the right was Jessica Alba.

Thank you I'm still getting a little white or black crush depending on the exposure. I'm still not satisfied with my photography skills. I'm going to practice more, and try to improve. hehe

I found the ending kind of anti-climactic (although it fits within the world of the story) and it tries to cover a lot of ground, showing the story of Temudjin from childhood to adulthood, and stopping at the cusp of the beginnings of the Mongol Empire. So, it feels like his history is not given enough due in breadth and depth in the duration of the movie, coming off kind of like a cinematic Reader's Digest version of his story.

But, even so, I stilled enjoyed the film quite a bit. And, the cinematography really conveys a feeling of what the Mongolian steppes might have been like in his time and the BD transfer is excellent!

I love the US... show a boob and it's dirty, cut off a boob and that's some darn fine entertainment.

The movie with the bunny is called, Presto.

It's a short by Pixar, about 5 - 10 minutes long and it's adorable! lol

Really cool to see your version of the pictures. My batteries died, when I started the set.

I''ll try to take shots of the sames scenes that you did. I'd love to see how I do compared to the Master.
