What is the piont of taking pictures from your screen? I think it's more important that your amazing blacks will last at least 10 years and it will only last for about 2. You al paid alot of money for this tv, and now it's turning into a reddish bad product.

I have three Kuros (5080, 500M, 600M), two with heavy usage (5080 and 600M), and no sign of red whatsoever. Out of hundreds or more Kuro owners here, maybe a half-dozen have complained of this.

Also, I have no idea why complaints about a possible technical problem are being aired on this thread in the first place.

Threads like these how amazing picture. Although one must note. It isn't just in the TV that gets you great pictures like that. It is in the camera as well. That being said.

How the heck do you achieve pictures like this? I have a high Range DSLR and I cannot seem to take pictures like others can. Mainly because I don't know what I'm doing. Does anyone have any tips that could help me out?

Images are taken in RAW and post-processing is applied.

What kind of post processing is applied? You customize the look? This is done Via PC I assume. Which would mean you would need a monitor with accurate colors. Which I don't have....

Anyone knows if the "duller look" on animation is a result of animation using sRGB palette rather than Rec709? I'm always curious about this even watching pixar movies.

Or is digital image from animation to CGI just inherently more pleasing on LCD?

I think it depends on the animation and how much effort was put into it. That Mickey junior looks like they didn't really put much effort into lighting the scenes so it's gonna look pretty dull (in addition to there being very few scene details). Compare with something like Up or Wall-e.
