Just purchased a little used 151, and only one word: Amazing!

Looked at all the latest and greatest from Panasonic, Samsung, Lg and others, really wanted to find better, newer with warranty, found that the picture quality was close, but when it came to overall visual engagement, no comparison. Caveat: I watch movies, documentaries (lots of animation, and not sports or TV.

Truly an amazing visual experience!

I consider this essentially correct settings for a vision from film reference, the only things they share are not
DRE low ----- DRE off
gamma 2 ---- gamma 1
but above
RGB 0-255 --- RGB 16-235

Amazing tv Urga, thanks ! ....talking about photography, image type
greyscale and colors of Kuro panels are much like "Nikon" style right ?

Also , when the sources skin tones are too orange (Transformers) or cyan deviated
(Camping 2-Chinese movie) there is nothing we can do to fix it and make it
more natural..more white :[

Jeez, how come you can't see the "medium gray" anamorphic bars / black bezel difference on the set like I do on my mine? Oh wait, that's right, I have a 2008 Panasonic!

All kidding aside, these are fantastic shots. I'm jealous as are most who have the rising black level "curse". VERY NICE! Katzman

Wow urga. Nice shots.

Do you have your sharpness turned up? I can see the sharpness lines on the edges of the bars in those pics. Turning up the sharpness from pure/movie modes -15 seems like it gives more detail, but then you get artifacts all over the picture and sharpness lines. So the highest i ever go is -8 to -6. Anything higher and you get artifacts.
