Radiient?

I was wondering how these would compare to the acculines. I am looking for a 5.0 or 5.1 setup. I have a budget of about 800, however I was wondering if there was a big upgrade between the 200 calypso's and about a grand for a 5.1 setup with acculines.

although i have not personally heard them myself (so please dont take this as any weight) however many reviews have stated that the x series from av123 have boomy and muddy bass. And altho im a huge bass fan, i'd rather avoid it as i dont wanna annoy my neighbors.....yet...

the only prob with the x-series is that it doesnt have good bass, but thast not a problem. most people buy a sub for bass and that will give it good bass.

Where did you hear they didn't have good bass? Read the reviews - you'll see, that for a bookshelf speaker, there's plenty of bass coming from them.

"Good" bass is different than "a lot of" bass.
