Have you Ordered or received an INTEGRA DTC-9.8 or an Onkyo PR-SC885P?

about to withdraw my order.

I owned my 9.8 since Aug 13th, just plan lucky for a change.

I ordered one on September 10th and am waiting just like everyone else.
I want it yesterday, but I will wait as long as it takes or until someone else releases something comparable even at a higher price. I need XLR, BiAmped front speakers,HD Radio,max volume settings and the DTS MA/Dolby TrueHD.

I ordered mine the first week of August. I'm beginning to have second thoughts and may cancel my order if I continue to hear about problems with lipSync. I can probably live with the Reon problems but I don't see how anyone can put up with a lipSync issue. Especially if it shows up on every TV station.

I ordered on Sept. 21, it was delivered Sept. 27.

I ordered on August 29th and got mine last week.

Ordered June 30 and still waiting.

Ordered Early in July.... still waiting....

Ordered the 9.8 1st week August, received 1st week in October.

I ordered a 9.8 early in September and my dealer thinks I should have my hands on it by the end of October, though no guarantees on the date.

I actually never pre-ordered one but when I called around looking for delivery dates a dealer an hour from me had two and I went and picked one up the next day.

Wow ! You are lucky ! I will be in Tokyo early next month, I called one of the shop to order one for me about 2 weeks ago, and they declined apparently due to no confirmed delivery time frame.

I never pre-ordered one either. I just sent emails to about 30 dealers, copy and paste.

A couple of Saturdays ago, the Barretts sales guy give me a call "we just got one," so I went in and got it.

Ordered mine around the end of August and received it October 9. Haven't had a chance to set it up yet. Killing me.

Got 885 about a month and half ago came in defective had to send in for repair, and just got it back last week or so....

Ordered on September 26th with estimated ETA first week of October.

Now I am being advised by my dealer that their vendor has no ETA yet.

Patience is a virtue - but not in the audio-video world!

I ordered my 885 on Sept. 15 and was told mid October, but I am seriously doubting that time frame.

I was initially told two weeks but was called
back by my dealer with the adjusted time frame.

Ordered my 9.8 on July 14th. Still waiting.

So far, that's 89 painful days of waiting to get a signal to and from my new, unused equipment:

Just ordered: Toshiba A35, XBOX 360

When it finally arrives, hopefully I won't get so excited that I trip down the stairs with it.

Hey Rich, your post is generating quite a buzz. The poll thing was smart. I guess everyone is eager to share their side of the story on this one. Anyway here's my story. Ordered the 9.8 on Aug 6th, cancelled it on sept 23rd after they started giving no ETA whatsoever! Ordered the 885 w/ $300 deposit on sept 23rd from a local installer. Also ordered the same from Troxell. Waiting to see which arrives first so I can cancel the other.

Hope that neither the local installer or Troxell read your confession(s) here.
And I hope that one of them delivers an 885 for you.

Thanx! I don't think Troxell would mind as they offered me the opportunity to cancel the order after finding out it has been backordered. The local installer, well he may be dissapointed... Did you get your unit yet?

I blast emailed every store that had a email address today in MO,IL,KS and CA up to the letter D today.
Amazing someone called me back with two of them in stock in my own town.
I dropped what I was doing at work drove straight there and picked one up, then went straight to the store were i had put down over a 1,000 deposit on 9/10 and had them refund my charge card.
I will hook it up tonight before "The Office" starts and give eveyone me opion.

If any one else emails me back about one that is avaialble I will let you all know asap.

I think we need to work together on this and help one another out.

So change my vote to I own one now.

Ordered from Gramophone in Columbia, Maryland in mid-to-late August, received in early October. Love it! Running DSD over HDMI from an Oppo 980H...which was actually my main reason for buying.

Get one if you can!

Absolutely... if I get both at the same time, I will auction one off. I hope the warranty is transferrable.

I noticed my credit card was charged full amount already for the Onkyo PR-SC885P but I don't think my unit was shipped (have been told ETA end of this month).

Has anyone who purchased from Troxell also been charged the full amount despite delivery not being fulfilled? I have not heard back from my Troxell rep yet in So. Cal.

What freezes are you talking about?
