I used MonoPrice 4x2 matrix switch for over a year. It worked, but I was not 100% happy with it. Very often I was forced to turn it on/off to restart handshakes, it delayed everything. But it was much better then switching cables.
Several days ago I found a deal at ZipZoomFly on PPA International 4x2 matrix switch for $59 + 8% off by using Bing and eBay (ZipZoomFly was a seller). So I decided to check it.
Now I am 99% happy. It works fast, no handshakes problems, it is 4 times smaller then Monopice. Remote works well from distance too.
I left 1% cushion just because one feature is missing. For some it can be important, but not for me. The deal is, you can't watch the same input on both outputs. Monoprice allowed it. So when you select Input1 with Output1, the switch will go for Input2 on Output2.
But all these hassles with handshakes are gone
