Paul, thanks for the quick response.
At first, I was considering the InCeiling Silver/6 Monitors for my L/C/R, but my joists run top to bottom in the picture, not left to right, so I was worried they wouldn't fit, because the angle of dispersion would aim opposite of where I'm sitting. I haven't gone up in my attic/crawlspace to measure, but I believe they are the standard 16" spacing
. So that right there is where my major concern is. Any recommendation?
As for the sub, placement shouldn't be behind the couch to make my seat rumble? I think I'll stick with an in-room model sub, and take your advice and place it in the bottom right corner (of the picture).
In terms of receivers, I was looking at the specs for the Onkyo TX-NR906, and is states that it's Power is 8ohms 20-20kHz 0.05%) /Ch at 145W, and its Dynamic Power is 400 W (3 ohms, 1 ch), 300 W (4 ohms, 1 ch), 180 W (8 ohms, 1 ch). The Denon AVR-4308CI 140W a channel, but I can't find the Ohms or any other detailed info. Would either of these receivers be juiced enough to bring out the potential for the suggested speakers?
Thanks for your advice. When the time comes (I'm thinking early next year), I'll check in with you to see if any modifications need to be incorporated in my proposed system, and whether there have been any product updates I should consider.
