Should I go with the Onwall Mini LCR or Onwall Bronze LCR? I could also get a NOS pair of Onwall Gold Omnis that had the aluminum housing. I mostly listen to music in this room, but also some TV and movies.
If you have room for a larger speaker, the OnWall Bronze LCR will play a bit louder and it has more headroom than the Mini LCR, but the Mini's a good choice, too. The old aluminum Gold Omni is beautiful, but it's still an Omni; not as good as the LCRs. Also, make sure you can get a third speaker for center that's the same.
Edit: The redesigned OnWall Bronze LCR, which uses a very attractive MDF enclosure instead of the extruded aluminum cabinet, is $150 less ($750 each, U.S.) and it's a better value. Performance is the same, and the new version is easier to install.Edited by Paul Scarpelli - 4/25/13 at 7:25am
