The Redskins-Packers game is looking pretty good today. A bit better than the baseball game last night I'd say. OTA from KFOX in El Paso. I just wish it was snowing in Green Bay.

Redskins @ Packers up on WJBK-DT FOX OTA in Detroit. Looks good and sounds great as expected.

Philly @ NY Jets WNYW-DT via TWC NYC

All close-up cameras looks great

The main field cameras are a bit soft (this seems to be the norm with games at Giants Stadium on all networks)

as some one in green bay, I'm glad it's not snowing, but i'm glad it's looking good at home.

So i'm watching the Eagles-Jets game right now and there has been several times where they have briefly gone to 480p wide. It usually happens before the game breaks. I can't think of a FOX game in HD that i've watched and it has NOT happened. The same goes for their MLB SGOTW. They always at least have a couple innings in 480p wide. Their HD PQ is already mediocre, so I don't know who they're trying to impress with this BS. Whoever likes FOX, obviously doesn't know what HD is. I don't know how the hell anyone could be a fan of their broadcasts.

I suspect the blame should be directed a little closer to home, like your local Fox affiliate.

How can you tell it's 480p wide? With FOX's HD quality with football games, I think it would be hard to tell.

The quality varies as it does on every network. I've seen some very good HD on Fox.

I see the change to SD before every game break as well, week after week, and it is very annoying. But yes, some times it is hard to tell because there actual HD is not that great.

Watching MN/CHI via OTA on KMSP in Minneapolis.

The Fox HD feed here (WPRI in Rhode Island) just switched to SD. This is on Cox cable, not sure about the OTA broadcast.Eagles vs Jets.
