Does anyone know if the BB 2 for $30 deal is only on the BDs shown in the ad? Is it ALL BDs in stock? Just from a particular studio? Anyone know?

Cool, just finished this!

It doesn't take a full 30 minutes! You watch about 6 or 7 chapters of clips, telling you about Blu-Ray technology and it's advantages over DVD and HD-DVD!

Afterwards, you will take a quiz of 17 questions!

You can then choose a movie of about 6 titles!

You will also receive a lapel pin, and a pocket blu-ray guide!

The front cover is 100% identical! You will have to look for the differences on the back!

Yeah, I know about those, I was wondering if the deal worked with other Blu-ray titles that aren't listed in the ad. At that price, I'd probably pick up 4-6 titles this afternoon, but if it's limited to just those eight titles, then I'll have to pass. From the look of the website, it's just those eight.

actually, there's a difference in the covers. The old one has dull while the remaster has a glare on it.

My ad says there are more than the 8 pictured in the store.....no one seems to know what those extras are though including the people working in the stores.

Sure seems that simply turning the case over and looking for TrueHD would be much simpler and so much more reliable. Wouldn't you agree?

Doesn't work. Says its good till the 21st but it must've ended last night. Just checked it out to see if there was anything different. Then noticed Haunted Mansion had Eddie Murphy in it (hadn't realized that) and was only 22. Tried getting that and something else but the promotional code doesn't work. Says "The coupon DBRBOGO has expired". Damn. A disney eddie murphy movie for $11 would've been a good deal.

Best Buy's ad is meant to mislead the customer into coming into their store and thinking there will be more BDs that qualify than the ones listed on the page.

Judging from their web site:

Thanks, I am now certified and have a free copy of Deja Vu coming/. I never listened to anything in the training, just had it running in the background. I got 15 or 17 questions correct just from reading things on this forum.

I ended up getting Into the Blue,Resident Evil 2, Casino Royal, A Nights Tale.

The manager had to override it. It is a Sony 2 for $30 that he put into the computer and then overrid the Resident Evil and Casino Royal. So I would say that it is limited to the ones on the flyer, but if you do some good talking you might be able to get more sony titles.

I have to stop buying. My Christmas gifts are already bought. LOL.
