FYI, I have the BD version. I can not play with any of my friends. It has split the servers into two. If you d/l it, you can only play with those who d/l it also. The new features are there(including my rank drop), but I can't play with my friends until they work this out=I'm pissed.

Ahh shoot...I did earlier. I just got the bd version yesterday. It seemed to me that I could not go online unless I downloaded it. I only have one friend at the moment that plays, but hope to be playing with you guys once I learn the game.

do i understand you to say that those w/o it (d/l version) can't play with those who have it? (blu-ray version)

Ah. I assumed my upload speed was so pitifully slow because of the wi-fi. Guess I was wrong.

Good games last night. Actually had some pretty good competition on a couple of those maps. Saw a good bit of guys on last night and it looks like Wed. is definitely picking up. Would be nice to start getting enough people so that we can just create our own room.

On a side note my Warhawk likes to freeze at least twice everytime I play. Always when I'm having a good game too. That is why I quit a little early last night.

Interesting. I have the DL version and my wife plays on the BD version. I did pop into warhawk for a min lastnight, but didnt get any prompts for download. Wonder how this will affect me when my wife plays on her account.

seems like fewer and fewer people really want to go after the flag anymore... it's not like you won't rank up if you don't seeing how i magically jumped up to air marshall out of nowhere! (not enough points nor the necessary medals!?)
oh well, i froze up shortly after 1am and figured i'd already sold my @$$ and rights to everything i own to T-NECK since he couldn't jump to the red team. my death ratio by t-neck vs the rest of the blue team was close to 10:1. if he would've made it over to our side, i'd have had much more success getting the flag out of their base!

Frankly, any CTF match I play where there is no attempt at communication just turns into a Team Death Match for me....Most every team nowadays camps the base and the ONLY way to successfully capture the flag is with a coordinated attack.

I try and elicit responses from people and I only hear silence. So, I just take a Warhawk and start killing people! I finished a CTF match last night with 48 kills while my next closest teammate had 9....but I was 10th on the points list. Guess what they were doing??

Yep I love the guys who hang out at the base planting mines and defending the flag. it's the easiest way I know to kill 5-6 people with a Tow!

....I've also seen it where the base is left undefended for an easy flag capture by the other team....

happened a few times earlier in the week. twice i captured all 3 flags untouched/unkilled in a room of 24.

What headset do you get with this game, I know its Jabra, but which one ??

Metafourik, was that you who said you wanted to kill me?! Sorry 'bout all those TOW missiles. Nobody else on my team seemed to care that you were running off with the flag every few minutes. The red team were classic base campers. Ugh.

It seems like I'll either get on a team that is all going after the flag and wondering why it's getting captured or on a team where everyone is guarding the flag. The few times you get on a team with 4 or 5 going after the flag, 4 or 5 guarding, and a few going after bases you kill the other team. But with little communication that can't happen. I have noticed my mic not working like 3 nights in a row, I'm guessing I was the gurgle guy. If you can't hear anyone talk when you ask if they can hear you....you're the gurgle guy. I just ended up having to turn off the PS3 and restart. I got a kick out of me having the flag screaming for air support and knowing that all they heard was "gurgle, gurgle, gurgle".

trying to get the flag vs. t-neck and avarice is a guaranteed death. really need to get on the same team.

had some good games last night going with avarice, snookalo and ratnose. it was an even match unitl they showed up and we were all the top 4 on the red each game.

I'm thinking the exact opposite when I'm playing against you guys. I have to keep respawning at the flag just to try and keep you guys away from it cause your there all game!! LOL

I might try to get on a little tonight but def. in for tomorrow. If we can get all of us on the same team that would kick a$$.

also last night i got in one room where nearly the entire blue team (16 players) were in the same clan and they were hardcore.

last night was domination for the most part. I seriously wonder what the other team is doing sometimes

I'll just have to make sure I start using the hand gun a little more.

I'm making sure that I get on the same team tonight as everyone else so we can put the smack down on the other team. Hell I'll sit in the team menu and keep hitting switch teams until someone leaves the room if I have to.

i've done that before... it'll be nice to not have to worry about you hunting us down tonight!


i'm pretty sure they were called [war]. it was a room that busahaya was connected to in the buddy menu so he may have seen them too. they easily had 13 of 16 players on the blue team.

You'll probably all kick my butt but that's the only way to get better .
