I'm considering an eD set up and would like to know people's thoughts.
I'm looking at getting the A6.t Towers and the A6.mtm for the Center. What are the feelings of those that have this front 3? My room is roughly 20x25x9 and the $600 for these is pretty much my budget for the front. I'l be using the BIC v1220 and old satellites until I upgrade to the A2 300 and A4.b's.
Thanks for the help.
Hello THelaw. I just replied to your post on our forum, but wanted to put it here as well.
I currently run a pair of A6-6T6 Towers and had an A6-6T6 MTM as the center at my residence. It is what I ran for over 4 years now.
The A6-6T6 Tower and A6-6t6 mtm reviews that you read online are going to be pretty similar to the A6.t and A6.mtm's. With the exception of the newer A6.t and A6.mtm's being built here in Iowa, using better wood material, better construction techniques, and better bracing. This leads to better sound quality due to reduced cabinet resonances and structural integrity.
That is correct, our products do not have key holes because many customers put them on stands, or use one of many mount styles available.
Some of which mount to the bottom of the speaker.
Our A4/A6 cabinets all feature crossover networks that mount directly to the back of the terminal cup/ binding post. This means all you need to do is line up your mounts, mark with pencil and pre drill. Nothing that you can drill into on the cabinet will be damaged, as no critical electronics are in the way.
When removed, you can either leave the screws in the cabinet, or remove. The wood used will not leak with a standard wood screw removed later on.
Here are some pictures of a customers setup with the A6 and A4 products.
