When I watch these channels during the day they have an stock info box on the right side of the screen that stretches from the top of the screen to the bottom. The right side of this box is cut off on the right side so I can't see all of the info. Am I the only person having this problem? I called D* and they have no clue!

Are you watching in HD with a 16x9 screen?

Steeler,

Your display is overscanning too much. Search the setup menu for overscan and turn overscan "off".

That is exactly what I thought at first but I checked and rechecked my Mits and the settings are correct. I have two HD TV's and the problem is on both!
Can someone look at these channels (CNBC HD and Fox business HD) and see if you have the same problem.

I don't and I have a Mitts (rptv) with a H20 - 600. Go to Menu then TV Type and see if it set on Widescreen 16:9

I have an older rear projection Mits a WS-65807 and it doesn't have that setting.

Maybe I'm not making myself clear it appears that the whole right side of my TV screen is cut off about an inch or so. I can't notice this on any other channel. CNBC and Fox has stock info and writing on the right side of their picture so it is easy to see the problem.

After several calls to tech support, a tech visit, two H20 replacements a talk with customer service and a talk with D* complaint resolution department I finally have an answer. The problems I have chronicled with CNBC and FBC have been verified as a program transmission problem. The fellow who was most helpful was from the complaint resolution department. He is going to run this problem by their tech people in program transmission in hopes of a fix. The weird thing about this whole situation was that the guy from complaint resolution was the only person connected with D*, a multi-million dollar company, that had access to a TV while talking to me to actually see what I was describing. They told me a call is forth coming by the end of the week to relay their plan of action. I will pass on what was told to me.
