Ok, what kind of speaker wire did I just buy...

I ran out of the good stuff (BlueJeans) 12 gauge and ran to Lowes. I had children with me and got confused.

When I got home I looked at what I purchased...some 12/2 speaker wire. The sheathing is clear, so I can see a the wire itself. One side is copper (obviously), the second wire is silver and doesn't look copper at all.

I think I won't hear any difference, but is this wire ok to use? Will the silver wire corrode or something over time?
