Anthem AVM50 and PS3

Why will my PS3 Blueray not work via HDMI thru my processor?
I have personally seen issues with a setup losing the HDCP handshake between the AVM50 and the source components which were both BD and HD-DVD.

I know there was a recent firmware upgrade, but I am not sure it helped the problem.

I'm using the Anthem D2 with a PS3 without any problems. 1080p24 in and out, and multi-ch PCM over HDMI.

Same with the the Toshiba HD-XA2 at 1080p24.

Just be sure to get the latest firmware and everything will work fine.

I beg to differ. I have:

- Anthem D2
- Toshiba XA2
- PS3
- JVC RS1 projector

Sometimes it takes about 2-3 minutes for the PS3 and RS1 to handshake via the D2, often requiring a reboot of the D2 to set things right. Constant burps of sound & picture followed by black screen, annoying RS1 messages etc.

And the XA2 does not work properly at 1080p24 (known issue, still awaiting a Toshiba firmware fix).

I have the same issue between an AVM50 and Toshiba HD-A30 HD-DVD. I have done the latest firmware upgrade (1.11), and I still have the same issue - from all four HDMI Inputs.

Once in awhile my AVM 50 will take a little extra time to switch between inputs and I've had it put a green tint on the image a few times. Rebooting the AVM 50 fixes it. I've had it blue screen for a split second and then it shows the status stuff on the bottom of the screen like the volume level etc. while watching a movie or cable. It's happened at different resolution inputs and with different sources. Anybody else have this happen?
