I tried downloading the file three time and got the same error every time. I tried Roxio Creator Classic, I tried MagicISO and ImgBurn and all three of them gave me the error about it not being a valid .iso file or similar. I just called Toshiba and they are sending me the disk but who knows how long it will take to reach me?
I'm also getting "cannot find out server" or if I try to access the web features on the Transformers disc, it immediately says no internet connection. Not sure when this stopped working? The A35 is connected to a Dlink switch which is then connected to an Airlink wireless bridge. I just got a Tivo HD and it is connected to the Dlink switch also and has no problems connecting to Youtube or downloading the guide data. I tried with DHCP and also hardcoding all the network params. Only thing I noticed is that the "cannot find server" msg takes longer when using the manual settings; it is almost immediate when I have DHCP on. If DHCP is on, all addresses are 0; should I get a non-zero IP address?
Next step I will try connecting directly to the router and see if I can connect. But need to pull the A35 out of the stand. If anyone has ideas, please let me know. Someone mentioned there is a 4.0 update on the web site, has anyone been able to get it thru the player's update menu?
