How many PSN accounts do you have?

How many Playstation Network accounts do you have?
I have 4, USA, Hong Kong, United Kingdom & Japan.

I wanted to be able to get any demo that I wanted even if it was only offered in certain stores like the GT5 P demo is so far only in the Japan store.

Another question is do I need other accounts like Australia or somewhere else to make sure I can get all the demos?

I got 5, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, Europe and Australia... And for your question, Europe and Australia have the same thing... except Australia have some music video.

I have just one. I don't have time to be downloading and playing demos from all across the globe. :P

I have 2 US ones. I set up the second one in anticipation of getting another PS3 and using the older one as a dedicated server. I just haven't felt the need to get stuff from other PSN stores. If I were in Europe I probably would have set up a US acct just for downloading stuff.

Here's a tutorial video on how to create a Japan account.

I just created my account and I'm now downloading GT5: Prologue from the Japan playstation store as I type this message.

Here is the website:

I have 2 so I can use my other PS3 in the home theater. I use it mostly for R:FOM and whatever single player games I get.
It is also the one I use for downloading all the demos.

6.

2 US, 1 Japan, 1 Asia, 1 Europe, and 1 Australia. I tried to make a Korean account, but you have to have a resident registration number that matches your name.

Sometimes, the Asia store has things the Japan store does not. Likewise, sometimes the EU and AU stores get things that the US or Japan does not yet. And, the AU store has HD music videos for free (but, they are AU bands/singers, so the selection is meh). The Asia store just had their first HD music video a week or so ago. With lots of Sony product placement.

The HK store is nice, its in english, and it has different stuff from JPN. I've got US, JPN, HK, EU, and AU.

You know what the REALLY sad part is? Sony counts each of those accounts as an individual account when talking about about their PSN. If they only knew how many discrete accounts they really had they'd piss their pants. Last I checked a Sony rep said they had half of all the ps3's online. If they are judging that number from the number of PSN accounts they have you can divide that by atleast 3/4.

I really doubt the vast majority of people have more than 1 account.

Of the small sample we've just collected we can infer that more than 90% have more than 1 account. Now, I know that we cant use this as a good sample but you get my point. Of all the people I know that have a ps3, every single person has more than 1 acct.

Quick question, guys ... I used to have a subaccount but I deleted because I always had to select which account I wanted to go on. Is there a way to have it automatically go to the master account on default (without having to select it)? I'm asking b/c I want that PES 08 demo and I need a euro account.
(Yes, I did post this in the PSN Update thread)

Yes, you can set your primary account to login automatically each time you start your PS3. Set up the foreign accounts to save your password (so you don't have to remember each one every time), but not to auto-login.

Works like a charm for juggling all my accounts

Ok, I just created a subaccount. However, when I go into the PS Store ... its a US version (I believe) ... how do I make it a euro or other country account? Also I checked off to remember the password and I left the box for auto-login unchecked. However, I restarted the PS3 and had to choose which account to go into. Where do I set the primary account to log in automatically so that I don't have to choose which account I want to go into when I turn the PS3 on?
EDIT: I got the primary account to log in automatically ... just need to know about setting the subaccounts to euro and HK.
EDIT: Just created a Japanese account (didn't notice the country of residence option) ... damn this japanese language is ridiculous lol

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to create a subaccount. I searched this forum and the PSN forum. Could anyone point me in the right direction, or give me a quick step-by-step?

I created a new user, and was going to use this as my subaccount, but I don't think that's how it's supposed to be done.

Thanks!
