Rotel RX-1052 vibration issue

One of the reviewers ate CNET had mentioned that there is some vibration that can be felt on the front panel. He or she had also mentioned that when Rotel was contacted they said that not all units have the problem and that exchanging the unit may or may not make it go away.

I was just wondering if anyone here owns RX-1052 and if they have this vibration issue. Considering the fact that the review at CNET was posted in 2005 there is a chance that Rotel fixed the issue on the current units. Anyone has any idea about this issue.

I was almost ready to pull the trigger on this after reading reviews of Onkyo A-9555 and NAD C372. This issue bothers me now.

I read the review too. I'm not sure I would really trust this unit. Sound like a transformer vibration? I'm not really sure where else it could be originating. Sound to me like they skimped a little when building the power supply for this unit.

I would pull the trigger on the Rotel rx-1052. It sounds like it has all the features you want, as well as the great sound. If you notice a problem with vibration is should most likely be there right out of the box. If thats the case send it right back and get a new unit.

The Rotel receiver was my first choice, but based on my overall budget, I went with the Onkyo.
