I just downloaded the latest Nvidia drivers for my 8600GTS card and it screwed up my display settings to my HDTV.
The reason I installed the new ones is because my HTPC wouldn't play DVDs. It would give me different errors in different programs all relating to my TV Out connection (WMP, PowerDVD and MCE). So, I decided that a newer driver may help.
I'm running a 52" DLP HDTV at 720p. It finds the TV, allows me to set the resolution, etc. But, it's overscanning the crap out of it.
I'm connected through the 9-pin din on the card with a component adapter.
The last driver I had allowed me to resize the display of the HDTV so that it fit the screen to my liking. This driver doesn't have that option. It only gives me custom res options which I didn't have to mess with on the last driver. I just set it to 720p (1280x720) and resized the display.
Does anyone know how I can get this option back and have any of you had a similar problem playing DVDs?
Thanks!
Matt
