windvd and powerdvd dont do it.

Buy CoreAVC codec and be happy...............

Encode to a different container and make sure you use standard parameters (eg H.264 High Profile @ Level 4.1 or VC-1 Advanced Profile @ Level 3)

It's not the 8500 at fault - it's working fine. It's the lack of a decoder that can properly pass through x264 content. Mail Cyberlink, and complain.

Or if you're in XP, try Nero. From what I can see it claims to support dxva h264.
