I purchased a Yamaha HTR-5835 a couple of months ago. When i first set it up it up was difficult to make out any dialog. I messed with it a little and was able to bring the voices up but lost most of my L & R rear speakers.
Anyhow, just bought an HD DVD player and I started fiddling with the receiver and it seems like I can either get the front center speaker working or the L & R rears and sub. I remember reading about a way to restore the original settings but I forgot how to do it...manual is MIA.
Any tips on a quick way to make this thing sound decent. I'm lost!
Transformers is on deck for tonight...any help would be greatly appreciated.
