JB HI FI of Australia to stock HD-DVD

JB HI FI of Australia(large retail chain) was Blu-ray exclusive but are now going to stock HD-DVD players and HD-DVD movies. As most of you no BLU-RAY is the widest supported HDM in this country by far and proably most other country's out side of the USA,But I think sence Paramount and dreamworks have gone exclusive to HD-DVD most of the large BLU-RAY exclusive retailers are going to have to rethink there decisions about HDM.This can only help HD-DVD and give the end user more choice when it comes to HDM.....

No I new it had been posted before(there are some that aren't slow) but I just wanted to hear what other people thought about JB's decision to go with HD-DVD will impact HD-DVD in Australia and wether other Australian retalers will follow suit. I think it is A big deal for HD-DVD in this country in that it gives the end user more choice....

Does Big W/Target/Kmart et al., stock HD-DVD? I've never seen any. Then again, outside of Blu-ray sections in the gaming area of stores, I haven't seen any HDM outside of Harvey Norman.

Had a chat with a saleslady yesterday who owns a video outlet here in adelaide. They have bluray and Hddvd. Her husband was about to buy a bluray player a few weeks back. They went to a seminar and the speaker told them bluray sales slowing and hddvd growing. The speaker said that her view is that hddvd will win eventually. The owner is now going hddvd. The owner said they sell alot more hddvd then bluray.Seen a harvey norman ad tonight with toshiba hddvd player on special.Guess things are turning fast here now.I am very happy I am in hddvd now.

In the Geelong area there are two Target store's that have mostly Blu-ray but earlier in the year they did stock A few HD-DVD titles but now there is only the mission impossiable HD-DVD box set in the target store I go to and that is it,But plenty of BLU-RAY titles. May be Target struck A deal with sony to be A BLU-RAY exclusive store, it shore look's that way. The two Harvey Norman super stores here mainly stock BLU-RAY players and A few Blu-ray movies and they have toshiba E1 HD players. I am not shore about Kmart stocking HDM last time I was there(5 months ago) they did not have any....
