Adam if you could give us any information what kind of clan support & community support you would make me a very happy camper. Also, have you seen anything that would be the "PS3 Gift" that IW mentioned?

Oh man, this game just keeps looking better and better. AWESOME Pictures adams. It's just a shame, though...that it's finally happened: The PS3 has TOO MANY great games out, or coming out right now! Damn it! Had to buy Ratchet, and Guitar Hero (of course)....and then next month RockBand is gonna coast a small fortune (relatively speaking to normal games), so I'm thinking COD4 is gonna have to wait until after Christmas...unless I get it for Christmas. At which point it's gonna be RfoM on-line all over again! I joined later, and had my arse handed to me every time I played! Oh, well. It still looks like it's gonna be a very fun game.

Better but not by much. I've played the demo cranked up on a 22" and although it looks amazing, i'm getting the PS3 version. Reason?

47" 1080p LCD and big comfy couch > hunched over a PC.

Pretty sure there is none. People have been asking for it at the IW forums, with no response.

its been confirmed by 402 in an interview that their is NO mouse and keyboard support..

Most games coming out now aren't optimized for high end PC's. They are optimized for mid-end PC's, and thereore it's entirely possible that the PC version won't look better than the console versions. In this case, the developers claim there isn't a significant difference between the 3 versions, graphics wise.

Hey adamas, thanks for all the info. as everyone here i would like to see some pictures of the multiplayer aspects of the game (lobby, maps etc).
And in the OPM review they say the ps3 version has 1-24 players. could you verefy that? i tought 18 was the max

Just called around in Chinatown.. for us New Yorkers the game will be available on or before Friday..

The PC demo runs fine on my mid-range setup at 1920x1200. That said, I will not buy any FPS without KB/Mouse support, another reason I won't be purchasing this game on the PS3.

No KB/M = must buy for me!

Exactly.... everytime people talk about KB/M I try and envision how I would pull that off sitting on my couch and I never turns out well.

PLEASE post pic of the back of the COD4 case where is says 1080p because gamestop is saying that the game is only 720p on PS3, no 1080i , no 1080p

To each their own, but you really can't be surprised. I suspect that most FPS games on either console won't have M/KB support simply because of the playing field. Everybody on a PC uses a mouse and a keyboard. Everybody on a console uses that console's controller. Mismatching them would be highly unfair in many regards. Yes, you could separate out rooms so that M/KB players were only allowed in specific rooms, but then what's the point? You're ration of M/KB users on a console is going to be so low you'd be better off getting the PC version anyway so you actually have others to play with. I understand people's desire to have M/KB support for console FPS games, but it's just not going to happen. The demand and user base is just far too low for it to be something that gets put high on a dev's priority list.

I had decided to buy the 360 version, but I'm not so sure now. I know they're saying that the three versions should be the same, but those screenshots are unbelievable! Definite first day purchase!

I dont know about San Fran.. but the Chinatown shops here are pretty honest.. if they got it they will tell you they have it in stock (or when its coming in) over the phone.. of course they wont discuss if its for sale or not..

If its in stock you can bet your azz that if went down to the store and wanted to get a copy early you wont be dissapointed.

I get pretty much any title early. Hell I had Halo3 almost 5 days before it was released on 9-25. Cost me $65 versus 60.. but who cares..

What about your friends on Live though?

I'll probably get the 360 version because of the better friends list integration, etc., but these screen pics definitely make you think a little. I'd like to see the in-game MP pics of the PS3 version to compare with the 360's beta. That would probably give people a good gauge on the differences.

I'd like to have the best looking version as well, but there's no way I could leave Live for this one. Too many of us getting it. These PS3 pics do look great though.

I didn't see a K/M option in the controller settings, but otherwise I'm not sure how to test whether or not that is an option?
