What I'm seeing is more yellow than green.
Do you see it when projecting an all blue image? If so, it's now dark gray?
If you change the picture mode (i.e.: color1 -- normal -- dynamic -- etc) or also raise the brightness and/or contrast, the problem remains?
My final thought is that it could be that the blue polarizer (each LCD panel has one) is dirty (more than a blob) or bad (very rare)
I believe I may have a case of a bad blue polarizer on my Pany AE2000U- see attached photos
. It has been faithfully working for > 3000hrs. This just started, I have cleaned the light paths [no impact] - I have seen dust before and have successfully cleaned the light paths in the past however this is different; you can not focus this green/yellow blob and it is not a small glob; it's around a 1/3rd of the screen, dead center on the top [ceiling mounted], shows up dark grey/ black on the projector blue screen startup. - Problem remains regardless of brightness/contrast/normal/dynamic/normal or input used.
Can anyone confirm that this is the symptom of a bad polarizer? - Any chance it's bulb related? - mine has been running for over 3000hrs. I can order the part [Part# TEEC0050] and replace it however would like to get some reassurance prior to dropping the $104.95 on the part.
Ps: I have the service manual and can not find anything in it on how to tell if the issue is the polaizer.
Any help / suggestions would be welcomed,
