I tried a lot of LCD's initially but I couldn't live with the flat look and horrible blacks, so I ended up with a dec 2006 build samsung 42" plasma, selling that in the next few days and was considering the 50" 1080p Samsung plasma... but all this talk about the slightly more expensive 52" 1080p 71 series Samsung LCD might be a heavy consideration....
